Friday Floorplan Day: Luxury Living in Shibuya-ku Tokyo

It’s raining today in Tokyo as we head into the weekend. We hope everyone has a great weekend planned! Earlier this week, in Oskamp’s Tip of the Week, Erik Oskamp, CEO of Akasaka Real Estate, spoke about the advantages of smaller versus larger units as investment properties in Tokyo’s central wards. But what if you’re looking to buy a property to live in? And what if you’re looking to buy a really big property?

In this week’s showdown, Property 1 is a 4LDK (499.69 square meter!) house located seven minutes from Shibuya Station. We bring your attention to the walk-in-closet, which is seemingly the size of some one bedroom units here. Property 1 lists for a cool 800 million yen. Property 2 (211.49 square meter) is located eight minutes from Ebisu Station. The private garden itself is over 100 square meters.

Thank you to everyone who voted! This week’s preferred floorplan was Property 1, with 66.7% of the votes.
